I am a software engineer with a deep passion for video games. I thrive on constantly challenging myself with new projects, focusing primarily on video game development and AI programming. However, I consider myself a tech generalist, always eager to explore diverse fields within technology. Beyond programming, I have a fervent love for participating in game jams, experimenting with cooking, immersing myself in anime, and enjoying grunge music.

What I Do

Videogame development

I'm passionate about crafting video games. Unity and Unreal Engine are my tools of choice, harnessing their power to create everything from immersive 2D and 3D worlds to cutting-edge AR/VR experiences. Each project is a new adventure, a fresh canvas on which to blend technology and creativity.

Teaching

I have extensive experience teaching a diverse range of students—from K-12 to post-secondary and university levels—about computer science and video game development. I believe teaching is a profoundly unique and growth-filled journey, not just for the students, but for me as well. Each classroom moment is a chance to inspire and be inspired, shaping futures one lesson at a time.

Software Development

My primary programming languages are C# & Python. However, my expertise extends across a variety of other languages and frameworks (detailed further in my resume). Whether it’s crafting business applications, designing websites, or developing video games, I have the skills and creativity to bring diverse software projects to life.

Project Management

I have successfully led numerous teams, composed of members from diverse backgrounds, to complete a wide range of projects spanning technology to entertainment. I like Agile methodologies, and as such, my preferred framework for project management is SCRUM, which I utilize to ensure efficient, collaborative, and timely project completion.
